ROADMAP TO INTEGRATION
A 6-week journey for turning meaningful experiences into meaningful change
THE EXPERIENCE IS NOT THE DESTINATION | THE LIFE YOU BUILD IN RESPONSE TO IT IS
FULLY SUPPORTED 6 WEEK PROGRAMMECOMMUNITY OF TRUSTINSIGHT INTO ACTIONTURNING INSIGHTS INTO ACTION
YOU HAD THE EXPERIENCE. BUT NOW WHAT?You had an experience that cracked you open, either in a ceremony, on a retreat, in a breathwork session or a defining moment in life. You touched something real about yourself, about what you want, about what has been running the show without your permission for too long.
For a while, the path felt clear. You set out with the best intentions to do things differently. But life happened. The inbox refilled, the notifications piled up and somewhere in the noise, your old patterns started to creep back in.
This isn't a failure of the experience. Or of you. It’s just what happens to insight when nothing is built to hold it. And we are not built to hold it alone.
For most of human history, big changes weren't integrated alone. There was community. We had elders, ritual, people who noticed you'd changed and helped it hold. Most of us don't have that anymore, so the insight fades, whether it came from ceremony, a retreat, breathwork, or a big life event. We know that fading firsthand. We created Roadmap to Integration to share the tools we've learned to turn meaningful experience into meaningful change, so that you don’t have to do it alone. This is your community for integration.
DEFINING INTEGRATION
INTEGRATION --> INTEGER --> WHOLE Whilst there is no single overarching definition for integration, it is often considered as the process of turning a significant experience into lasting change in daily life. It's the work that happens after the experience, not during it.
The experience itself can loosen old patterns and offer a genuinely new perspective, but that shift is fragile on its own. Without a deliberate process to hold and apply it, insight tends to fade. The clarity is real in the moment, but it rarely survives contact with a normal week and the demands of modern life. Integration is what closes that gap.
Integration isn't about holding onto the experience. It's about letting it change you. Sometimes what's needed isn't more doing, but the opposite — finally letting something (or someone) go, grieving what you'd been avoiding or making peace with a part of yourself instead of ‘fixing’ it.
Think of it this way — the experience helps you build your boat (your insights). Integration is learning to sail it. It’s understanding the currents, the eddies, the places where the water runs fast and the places where you need to slow down. Without it, you have a beautiful boat and nowhere to go. You are sat on the shore.
Integration takes time. It takes support. And it takes someone who understands the waters.
That's what we're here for.
Combining the wisdom of our ancestors with the latest research from psychology, ecology and neuroscience, our 6 week journey is built around 4 key pillars that we believe are vital for turning insights into sustained, real-world change.
FOUR KEY PILLARS
FEELING CAPABLE
FIND YOUR EMPOWERED PLACEReal change starts with believing you are capable of it. And with the freedom to define what that change looks like for you. No one else's blueprint, no prescribed version of who you should become. Just seeing the possibilities for yourself and then setting the wheels of change steadily in motion.
01
FEELING SAFE
A REGULATED NERVOUS SYSTEMA nervous system on high alert can't build anything new. So we start there, not with the to-do list but with the tools to tell your body and mind that it is safe. And when you stumble, which you will, there's room to come back without shame. Self-criticism stalls change, self-compassion moves it forward.
02
FEELING SEEN
THE POWER OF COMMUNITYFor most of human history, healing and change happened in community, not alone. It is only recently that we've tried to do this kind of work in isolation. Being truly seen, and having people who'll actually notice if you go quiet, gives you the accountability and support you need to really follow through.
03
BE THE TORTOISE
REAL BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE
No dramatic overhauls here. Slow and steady is how you actually win the race, so to speak. Decades of research in behavioural psychology, has proven that taking one, small doable step at a time, works better than any big leap. Walk first, then run and before you know it, you will be sprinting.
04WE BRING THE TOOLKIT….YOU MAKE THE MASTERPIECE
SIX WEEKS. THREE PHASES
Six weeks, three phases, one arc. Each phase building on the one before it, with the four pillars woven through every step of your integration journey.
WEEKS 1-2 GROUND
MAP YOUR EXPERIENCE NERVOUS SYSTEM WORKWeek 1 helps you understand what really shifted, separating the insights from the noise. Week 2 focuses on the body — because nothing lasting gets built if your body is on high alert. This is your foundation
WEEKS 3-4EMBODY
FROM INSIGHT TO ACTION MEET THE RESISTANCEWeek 3 is where you take what you found and actually try it — one small, doable step at a time. And in Week 4, the old patterns may push back. That's not a sign to stop, it's usually a sign that something is shifting.
WEEKS 5-6SUSTAIN
BRING IT HOME THE ROAD AHEADIn Week 5, the change moves beyond you and into your relationships and the people around you. Then, in week 6, we build the scaffolding that keeps your path sustainable moving forwards. This is your Roadmap.
YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF…
You had an experience — a plant medicine ceremony, a retreat, a breathwork session, a spiritual awakening — and for a while, everything felt obvious, but the clarity is already starting to slip through your fingers and you can feel it happening in real time.
You’ve recently gone through a life-altering experience- such as a divorce, a death, a diagnosis, becoming a parent, or losing a job that used to hold your whole identity - it’s shifted something about your worldview but you’re not quite sure what to do now.
You’ve done a lot of ‘the work’ and could run off a list of your patterns, your attachment style, your inner child’s needs but you still can’t quite bridge the difference between theory and practice.
You are realising more and more each day that we weren’t built to do this crazy thing called life alone and you are curious to explore how the power of community can add new dimensions to your heart and healing. You’re ready to find ‘your people’.
You want real structure, a group that is guided and supported, that holds the potential for genuine connections and people who'll notice if you go quiet — not another one-off gathering that doesn’t hold space for depth.
You are ready and willing to show up once a week, for six weeks, even on the weeks the insight feels distant and you're not sure you have anything worth saying. Those are usually the weeks that matter most.
WHEREVER YOU ARE AT, YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE IT FIGURED OUT. YOU JUST NEED TO SHOW UP

MEET YOUR TEAM
Talissa founded OTHERLAND out of her own crisis turned transformation — not a moment of enlightenment meditating on a mountaintop, but rather, it was born out of a blubbering breakdown on her kitchen floor covered in baby sick and old banana that had been artfully smooshed on her jumper by her then two year old. It was a crisis moment for sure. One of those moments where you realise you are halfway to drowning and can entirely sink or swim. Spoiler alert: she swam! And she created OTHERLAND to share the tools that helped her with others.
She holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Psychology, and has worked as a breathwork facilitator and yoga teacher for six years, trained under leading teachers including Max Strom and Donna Farhi. She's completed ICEERS psychedelic integration therapy training, and is currently deepening her practice through the Grof Legacy Training in holotropic breathwork, psychedelic therapy and transpersonal psychotherapy. Her own experience taught her that the hardest part was never the breakthrough — it was what came after. That belief is the foundation that Roadmap to Integration is built on.

Sarah-Jayne is the warmth behind Roadmap to Integration. She is the person people find themselves telling things to within an hour of meeting her. Her own path to this work wasn't planned…eight years of chronic illness, two of them bed-bound, taught her more about the body, resilience, and what real support actually looks like than any qualification could. When she finally found her way back to health through nutrition and natural medicine, it changed the direction of her life entirely. That was over 25 years ago! She has been helping people come back to their health and wholeness since.
She has held space on retreats since 2003, and brings that same presence here — alongside practical grounding in nutritional medicine, Reflexology, and Reiki to support the physical side of integration work: sleep, nourishment, and the body's role in processing change, alongside the emotional and cognitive work at the center of the program. She believes the body keeps score long after the mind has moved on and that healing one without the other rarely holds. If you need someone to simply be with you in a hard moment, or want grounded, practical guidance on taking care of your body while you do this work, Sarah-Jayne is who you want in the room.

HAVE A QUESTION?
-
No. Roadmap to Integration is a structured, peer-supported programme for integrating significant experiences. It isn't a substitute for therapy or clinical mental health care. If you're currently in crisis, please speak to a doctor or therapist.
-
The one fixed commitment is the 90-minute live call each Thursday. Outside of that, expect roughly 2–2.5 hours spread across the week — a short daily practice, some workbook time, and checking in with your pod. Nothing that specifically needs a big block of time, just small moments woven through each day.
-
We know that life happens and you may miss a session. Each session opens with the teaching and framework for that week, which is recorded and shared with the cohort. So you won't miss the actual content. The open group sharing after that isn't recorded, to keep the room genuinely safe for what people bring to it. You will have your peer group to fill you in though and we’re always here for any questions.
However, the programme is designed around the live call structure and the group container so if you already know you can’t make most of the calls, probably best to hold off until a future cohort date when you are able to join :)
-
Live calls take place at 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET, every Thursday. If you're elsewhere, check the exact time in your timezone here before your first session.
-
Because of the nature of this work, cohorts are kept deliberately small, with a maximum of 12 participants. You will never just be a face in the crowd.
-
Not much :) Mainly just yourself and a willingness to take part. Plus a device to join the call, somewhere quiet for 90 minutes a week, a notebook and a pen
-
It often gets talked about that way but it isn't really. Integration is what happens after any experience big enough to crack your sense of self open, and psychedelics are just one common way people get there. Whilst many participants may have had a powerful experience with plant medicine, Roadmap for integration is for anyone who has found themselves at a moment in life where they have real insight, and nowhere to put it. If that's you, you're in the right place.
-
That's fine, and actually common. Some people will arrive with one clear, defining moment. Others will arrive with several — a handful of experiences that add up to the same underlying insight, or a scattering of moments that only make sense together in hindsight. Either way, the work here is the same…making sense of what's there, and helping it translate into real changes.
-
Yes, absolutely! Everyone in the cohort agrees to keep what is shared, on calls and in peer groups, private. That's what makes it a safe space to be open and honest in and we ask that all participants honour and protect that safety.
-
Yes, you are welcome whether this is the first time you've tried to make sense of something like this, or you've been doing inner work for years. The process is the same…it's about what you do with the specific thing that happened, not how experienced you already are at this kind of work.
-
Yes, of course, we know it can feel like a big commitment to sign up to a programme like this. We are always happy to jump on a quick call to help you decide if it’s the right fit for you. Drop us an e-mail at hello@theother.land and we can organise something.
-
Six weeks builds the foundation, not the whole cathedral — but by then, you'll have a sustainable system designed to hold on its own. And of course, we would love for you to stay part of the OTHERLAND community.
SAY HELLO
